Has Amazon slowed down their free shipping speed intentionally? As a customer who used to be non-Prime and then Prime and now back to non-Prime, the difference with Amazon is staggering. Prior to my first being a Prime member (2006-2011 or so), orders shipped out from Amazon in a day almost always and then the shipper would get them to me within 1 to 3 days from that. Now, that NEVER happens as a non-Prime customer. Rather than talking about the time to delivery, my issue is in the time Amazon takes delaying the start of the shipping. Amazon is CLEARLY holding orders and seem to be doing so as a punishment to customers not being Prime members.
